  • Summer Internship

    May 27 – August 3 Goal: 3 Students | Must have completed freshman year  The goal of this internship is to develop young leaders under the guidance of our staff to discover the gifts God has given them and know how to effectively use them in ministry. In addition to participating in staff meetings, mission trips, camps, and local outreach, students will be given the opportunity to hone in on their talents and choose to develop their skills in a specific area: media, worship, or pastoral ministry and student ministry through camps and VBS.   • Wednesday Night Prayer Meeting

    Family Life Center

    Our last Weekly Prayer Meeting is August 5. Everyone is welcome to join us for a short time of devotion, corporate prayer, fellowship, and dessert.

  • Lifeguard Dinner

    Every Thursday | 7:30 PM | FLC - Contact Shari Boston at sharipboston@gmail.com or the church office to start the volunteer process through our disaster ministry team if you’d like to serve.

  • Cults and Religions Class Launches Early

    Aug. 12 | 6:30 PM | Ed. Bldg. Rm. 4  In the spring, Brett led a class on Cults and Religions on Wednesdays. As was the plan, we will conclude this class by turning our attention to protestant denominations, looking at some key differences and similarities each week between our doctrine and theirs. This will launch August 12, and will run through September 2 or 9 (He is still finishing this material).

  • Communion Sunday

    Aug. 23 | 8:45 AM & 11 AM Services We will observe the Lord’s Supper during worship service. Please join us as we remember Christ’s sacrifice and celebrate His grace together.

  • Ministry Fair

    Aug. 23 | During Sunday School Hour | FLC  Our Fall Ministry Fair will be Sunday, August 23 during the Sunday School hour (9:50-10:45 AM). No Sunday School classes will be held so you can join us in the FLC Gym to find out more about the groups, classes, and volunteer opportunities at the church. Light refreshments will be provided. This is a perfect way to get plugged into the church!

  • Adult Choir Rehearsal

    6:15 PM l Choir Suite/Sanctuary  Adult Choir Rehearsals will remain at this time until Wednesday Night Dinners resume on September 9. We are looking for a few more tenors and basses to join our faithful core and fill out our back row. Contact dhansen@fbchhi.org if interested.

  • Youth Adventure in the Holy City

    Sept. 6 | After 2nd Service | Lunch Provided  After the 2nd Service, we will change clothes and have lunch in youth building before we leave. Wear athletic clothing and shoes and bring a towel, water bottle, change of clothes (just in case we find a splash pad to cool down in!). While in Charleston we will run/walk the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge, hike a trail on Daniel’s Island, visit Trader Joes, and eat supper at “Seasons of Tokyo”. We will have a cooler stocked with water and electrolytes but prepare to hydrate now so you won’t die-drate. Our exact return time

  • Men’s Bluffton Bible Study

    Tuesdays | 7 AM | 1 Sherington Dr Suite J  Beginning September 8th, we will start a new study entitled 12 Habits of Truly Happy Christians: Jesus’ Prescription for Happiness by Dr. David Jeremiah.

  • Fall Launch/Movie Night

    Sept. 9 | All Activities  We are so excited to be launching our Wednesday Night activities this fall on September 9th! Please join us for Wednesday night dinner from 5:15 - 6PM and classes and groups to follow. All activities will be meeting except choir, and the Men’s class and Brett’s class will be watching the movie, The Forge, at 6PM in the FLC.
