Missionary Volunteers at a four-day Kairos Weekend “Walk” spend 36 hours in small group settings listening to and sharing with prisoners through 10 scripted (and “scriptured”) talks that share the Truth of the Gospel. These men need hope and healing that is found in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Nearly 800 inmates at Ridgeland Correctional Institution have attended the Kairos Weekend Walk over the past 10 years with many professing their belief and trust in the Lord for their salvation. If you feel God leading you to participate in this Missional Outreach, please contact Dr. Harold Cross, Mike Harris or Dick Sanders. Training sessions will be held at Great Swamp Baptist Church from 7 am – 1 pm on Saturday March 23, April 6, 20, & 27 to prepare volunteers to be effective agents of reconciliation.
