We will have a Church-Wide Work Day\, focusing primarily on a few outdoor projects\, cleaning up our property in preparation for our Fall Festival\, one of our largest outreach events of the year. We also have a couple of indoor projects as well for those better suited for climate-controlled work. Here are some tools to bring if you happen to have them lying around: hard-tooth rakes\, loppers\, extension chainsaws\, work gloves\, and tarps. We should have plenty of extra tools\, so even if you don’t have some of those\, we would love to have you show up to help.

SUMMARY:SC Baptist Convention Disaster Relief Fall Training
DESCRIPTION:Sat.\, October 11 | Concord Baptist Church | Anderson\, SC  There will be training in every aspect of Disaster Relief Ministry. The cost is $55.00 for NEW Volunteers and $45.00 for RETURNING Volunteers if you register before midnight on October 2. One of our greatest needs across South Carolina is for more Disaster Relief Chaplains – both male and female. Listening to hurting people share their stories and praying with them provides an incredible opportunity for Gospel impact. Chaplaincy requires extra training sessions (included in the registration fee) that begin on Friday\, October 10.  If interested\, please contact Don Hansen\, Shari Boston or Lauren Sheridan.
