4. Annual “High Tide” Chili Challenge, Annual Fund Raiser for Youth Camp, Sunday, January 28, 5:30 PM, in the Family Life Center.

Who in our church can make the best pot of chili? Our entire church family is invited to our annual Chili Challenge Sunday, January 28, 5:30 PM, in the Family Life Center. This is always a fun event, and you can sample enough chili so you don’t have to have dinner at home later.  If you choose to help us, you can help in two ways:  1) make a pot of chili (red or white, spicy or mild) for judging, or 2), you can just come to enjoy the chili and cast your votes for your favorites.

Sponsored by our “High Tide” Youth Ministry, this annual event is an opportunity to fellowship with our church family - especially our students, AND this event is used to raise funds to offset the cost for their summer youth trip.

Call Paulette at 785-4478 by the deadline of Wednesday, January 24, to register to bring your “winning” chili to the Family Life Center on Sunday, January 29, at 5:30 PM, or make your reservation to come enjoy the samples of chili and cast your vote. Everyone present can cast votes for their favorites. Prizes will be awarded.

A minimum donation of $5.00 per person is requested. Additional donations will be gladly accepted to help make sure all of our youth can attend summer camp. The challenge is on! Who will be the winners?

5. Reminder: If you have volunteered to help in a particular area of the church, and cannot make it, please be sure to let someone know so other arrangements can be made.
